1 day to Christmas

Friday, December 23rd, 2011

One more day!! I’m absolutely delighted that Christmas is here at last.

I’ll be doing some last-minute shopping (I still need to get my grandpa something… he’s not that easy to buy something for) but then I’ll just enjoy a bit of time off with my family.

Talking of last-minute shopping. I went shopping on Tuesday with a couple of my classmates and just had to buy this adorable ring. Doesn’t it just scream Christmas? And it’ll be super with my fresh Ruby Pumps manicure.

Scenes from the weekend

Monday, September 26th, 2011

I had such a lovely weekend. Some time to myself, plenty of time for laundry, studying a bit of piano and the third season of Big Bang Theory.

On Sunday I had breakfast in town with my mum. Such a lovely thing to do for the one week I don’t have to work on Sunday morning. Afterwards we discovered this little shop filled with all kinds of dried herbs and spices, special kinds of tea and much more. A little gem right in the middle of town.

I also wanted to share this video about Bill Cunningham. Such an inspirational man with such a grasp on fashion and the first (I think) street fashion photographer. As Anna Wintour says: ‘We all get dressed for Bill.’

Shopping for fairy dust

I have Tuesday mornings off. It’s such fun to not have to set my alarm at 7 a.m. one day in the week.

This morning I met up with my classmate Emelien at the Meir in Antwerp. We were going to buy some stuff for school and check out the new Forever 21 store (the first one in Belgium).

But first we couldn’t resist visiting the (also new) Disney store. Look how pretty it is!

We spent quite some time inside, the interior is so gorgeous! I also found my new halloween costume. Extra brownie points if you can guess which character. Hehe.

In the end I did buy the internet cable I needed and the logbook for school and via the main train station in Antwerp we hurried off to our class at 1 p.m.

Emelien approved of that situation.
