Positivity and perseverance

June 1st, 2012 at 11:06 am.

I’ve had a bit of a breakthrough. For the very first time I have actually completely and utterly followed my own advice. I’ve done just what it says below: I’ve believed in myself, I’ve kept my chin up and I’ve smiled like nobodies business.

The audition went great. I felt like I’ve shown the panel what I can do, what I’m made of and that is the best feeling ever. Plus I had a great time as well. Awesome is the word that comes to mind.

And that all got me thinking. This has been the first audition during which I’ve been able to completely be myself, to not think about what reaction every word I say is going to elicit. To say that it feels liberating is the understatement of the year.

So go out. Do what you want to do. Follow the things you’re really passionate about.

Have a lovely weekend!

This made me so happy to read! Good for you, sweetie, I can’t say enough how much you deserve to be happy and PROUD of yourself. You’re a hard worker and a passionate artist, it’s clear even to someone sitting on the opposite side of the computer screen. With patience, determination – and definitely with the bliss of being oneself – great things are achieved. xo

Thank you dear. Even if I don’t get in I’ve given it my all and I did a great audition so that’s a lovely experience in and of itself.

Thank you dear. Hopefully I’ll have good news pretty soon… I should know more next Thursday. One more week.
Aww. You’re so sweet. Don’t worry about it, life takes over a lot. I don’t comment near as much as I’d like.
